The Çağdaş Atan era is over in Başakşehir

The era of Çağdaş Atan as head coach of RAMS Başakşehir has ended.
The orange-white club's statement is as follows:
“Our club has decided to part ways with our coach Çağdaş Atan by mutual agreement.
We would like to thank Çağdaş Atan for carrying our team to two consecutive European championships with the dedication and professionalism he displayed in his two seasons in charge, thus continuing our club tradition. We wish him success in the next chapter of his career.

This season, Başakşehir was eliminated from the UEFA Conference League tournament after losing 3-1 away to Romanian side Universitatea Craiova in the second leg of the play-off round. Atan's team had also lost 2-1 in the first leg.
Başakşehir played 98 matches during Çağdaş Atan's tenure, posting a 1.98 points average. The 45-year-old manager previously coached Süper Lig teams Kayserispor and Alanyaspor.
