Morata's words about Istanbul: 'What is said is not enough'

Spanish striker Alvaro Morata, who was added to Galatasaray's squad from Milan during the mid-season break, said that he is happy at Galatasaray.
Speaking to Spanish press Marca, Morata said that Istanbul is more beautiful than what is said.
'A DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE'The Spanish forward, who stated that he has embarked on a new adventure, said, "I am very happy. I am living an experience that may seem different at first glance, but I have met a wonderful country, an incredible club and very nice people. I love my life here and I am very happy to come here. The conditions of football. After all, everyone has to think of their own business. It is easy to express my opinion, but if everything goes well, I will play in the Champions League next season and that is important to me. I wanted to continue competing at the highest level in Europe, and that is not easy."
'BETTER THAN THEY SAID'Asked about his life in Istanbul, Morata spoke highly of the fans. Speaking of a special passion, the Spanish forward said: "Yes, very much. I found a place where I was treated very special, where I was shown a lot of love and affection, where I was very pleased with the people. Everyone told me that the Turks were wonderful people, but until I came here and saw them, I didn't realise that it wasn't just that. They give you everything they have. I don't say this to criticise other places most of the time, I can move around more comfortably here than in other parts of Europe. I am calm and quiet.
The passion is very obvious. In every place you go, in every restaurant, they show you which team they are on, but they are very polite while doing this, they joke around but they are also respectful. Negredo, Guti, Riera, Juan Mata told me incredible things, they are the wonders of Turkey, but until you come here and see them... The truth is I am very happy," he said.
