Max Verstappen wins the Formula 1 US Grand Prix

The race, held on the 5.5-kilometer Circuit of the Americas in Austin, the capital of the US state of Texas, consisted of 56 laps.

Verstappen, who started the race from pole position and finished first with a time of 1 hour 34 minutes 00.161 seconds, won the 5th race of the season.

McLaren's Lando Norris of Great Britain finished second, 7.959 seconds behind Verstappen, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc of Monaco finished third, 15.373 seconds behind the leader.

The 20th round of the season, the Mexican Grand Prix, will be run on Sunday, October 26.
