Historic score in the Champions League! 9 goals, 2 red cards

PSG hosted Bayer Leverkusen away in the third week of the UEFA Champions League. The away team won the match 7-2 at the BayArena.

CLOSED THE FIRST HALF 4-1 AHEAD

PSG took the lead in the 7th minute with a goal from William Pacho. The French side then conceded an equalizer, and goals from Désiré Doué in the 41st and 45+3rd minutes, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 44th minute, put them ahead 4-1 at halftime.

THE SECOND HALF GOALS CONTINUED

PSG's second-half goals were scored by Nuno Mendes in the 50th minute, Ousmane Dembele in the 66th minute and finally Vitinha in the 90th minute.

Home team Bayer Leverkusen scored from the penalty spot in the 38th minute and Aleix Garcia in the 54th. Meanwhile, Germany's Alejandro Grimaldo missed a penalty in the 25th minute.

2 RED CARDS OUT

Both teams received red cards in the tough match. For the home side, Robert Andrich was sent off in the 33rd minute for a heavy challenge. For the visiting PSG, Ilya Zabarnyi was sent off in the 37th minute for denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity.

With this result, PSG secured their third consecutive victory in the Champions League and maintained their lead, while German side Leverkusen sit in 26th place with two points.

Next week in the Champions League, PSG will host Bayern Munich, while Leverkusen will be away at Benfica.
