In the statement made by the orange-dark blue club, it was stated that a 2+1 year contract was signed with the 30-year-old center forward transferred from the German representative Hamburg.

Selke became the top scorer in Germany's Second Football League (Bundesliga 2) last season with 22 goals. His performances played a key role in Hamburg 's promotion to the German First Football League (Bundesliga).
