Apple update response: Battery drains immediately

The iOS 26 update released by the US-based technology giant Apple has sparked a reaction from some iPhone users.

Many iPhone users who used the software introduced at Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference in June reacted to Apple.

iPhone users sharing their troubles on social media commented, "My phone was fully charged 58 minutes ago. Now it's already down to 79 percent. The iOS 26 software has made my phone worse," while another user claimed, "Since I updated my phone, it's practically bursting into flames. My phone's battery health has dropped to 80 percent."

"THERE IS A BATTERY PROBLEM"

One user said that despite using his phone very little, the battery level dropped to 50 percent in a few hours, adding, "iOS 26 clearly has a battery problem."

Apple, in a statement on the subject, announced, "After such a major update, you may see changes in battery life and phone temperature."
