The Murmansk Region Triathlon Championship and Championships have ended in Polyarnye Zori

The Murmansk Region Championship and Junior Championship in triathlon in the discipline "duathlon - cross-country skiing" ended in Polyarnye Zori.

The official website of the Murmansk Region government reports that the championship was held at the ski stadium of the physical culture and sports complex in Polyarnye Zori. More than 40 athletes from Murmansk, Severomorsk, Olenegorsk, Polyarnye Zori, Kandalaksha, Apatity and the Kola region took part in the competition.

In the Murmansk Region Championship among girls, Alisa Tetenkina (Kolsky District) took first place, Elizaveta Sheveleva (Murmansk) took second place, and Tatyana Ivanova took third place. Among the boys, the winners were Daniil Klimov (Murmansk) and Ivan Mikhailov (Kandalaksha), and Nazar Monakhov (Kolsky District) and Nikita Morev (Murmansk) received silver medals.

In the regional championship, the entire podium was taken by girls from Polyarnye Zori: Anna Astafieva took first place, Elena Kolovanova took second, and Maria Belova took third.

In the men's competition, the winner was Andrey Yanovich from Apatity, slightly lower on the podium was Andrey Gubailovsky (Polyarnye Zori), and third place was taken by Dmitry Uklechev (Murmansk).
