Russian fighter Shlemenko wins with broken arm

Former Bellator champion, Russian fighter Alexander Shlemenko defeated Spaniard Guilherme Cadena in the main fight of the SFC-11 tournament. The fight evening took place at the G-Drive Arena in Omsk.

In his previous fight, which took place on May 31, Shlemenko lost by decision to Belarusian Vladislav Kovalev. Before this fight, Kadena had not known defeat since March 2024, having won six times in a row during this period.

The fight in Omsk lasted 3 minutes 21 seconds and ended with a technical knockout. Shlemenko unleashed a series of blows on his opponent, after which the referee stopped the fight. This victory was the 68th in the titled Omsk native's professional career.

After the fight, it turned out that Shlemenko entered the ring with a broken arm. He received the injury in a fight with Kovalev. According to him, he had only 6 weeks to recover, but in the end everything worked out.

According to Shlemenko, he did not want the Spaniard to resist longer, I did everything to "finish" him faster. He also noted that he worked on the mistakes, changed the approach in the mood, the approach to the fight, and the fighter did not have to cut weight at the last moment.
