Tavira Gymnasium Club crowned champion of the Algarve League 2 for Under-18s

Ginásio Clube de Tavira won the Algarve Football Initiates League 2 title, guaranteeing promotion to the Algarve Football Initiates League next season.

The team demonstrated a “remarkable” performance throughout the competition, winning all games played so far in the 2024/2025 season.

The trophy was presented last Sunday, May 11, in the presence of the management of Ginásio Clube de Tavira and Carlos Figueira, vice-president of the Algarve Football Association ( AFA ), who congratulated the team on their achievement.

With this achievement, Ginásio Clube de Tavira ensures its presence in the main regional division for beginners next season. The title represents not only a milestone in the club's history, but also an “incentive for the continuation of the dedicated and passionate work that has been developed in Tavira”.

The Algarve Football Association congratulated the club on its achievement, highlighting the merit of the entire structure involved.
