Sinner secures spot at ATP Finals 3 months in advance

Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner, number 1 in the world rankings for over a year, has officially qualified for the next edition of the ATP Finals, which takes place between November 9 and 16 in Turin.

The tournament marks the end of the season and brings together the eight tennis players with the highest scores throughout the year.

With 6,010 points earned in 2025, Sinner mathematically secured his place, as did Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, number 2 in the world and the tennis player who scored the most points this season, with 7,550.

Considering the ranking as a whole, the Italian has 12,030 points, and the Spanish, 8,590.

Sinner will be participating in the ATP Finals for the fourth time, and the third consecutive time, and will have the opportunity to defend the title he won in 2024. The Italian has a record of 10 wins and two losses in the tournament, which could be decisive in determining who will finish 2025 at the top of the rankings.

The other six qualifiers for the ATP Finals at the moment would be the German Alexander Zverev, the Serbian Novak Djokovic, the Americans Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz, the British Jack Draper and the Australian Alex de Minaur.
