French driver Sébastien Ogier (Toyota Yaris) won today the 58th edition of the Rally of Portugal, the fifth round of the World Championship (WRC), and secured the 63rd victory of his career, seventh in the Portuguese event, a new record.

Ogier completed the 24 stages in a time of 3:48.35.9 hours, leaving Estonian Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20) in second place, 8.7 seconds behind, with Finn Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota Yaris) in third, 12.2 seconds behind.

With these results, Briton Elfyn Evans (Toyota Yaris), who today finished sixth, maintains his lead in the World Championship, with 118 points, 30 more than Kalle Rovanperä, second, and 22 more than Ogier, third.
