Israeli Nitai Greis is a reinforcement for Oliveirense's goal

Israeli Nitai Greis is a reinforcement for Oliveirense's goal

Oliveirense announced today the signing of Israeli goalkeeper Nitai Greis, who strengthens the goalkeeping of the Portuguese II League team.

The 21-year-old comes from Maccabi Haifa and is another option for Oliveirense's goal, joining Rui Dabó and Ricardo Ribeiro.

Nitai Greis trained at Maccabi Tikva, also in Israel, and has played for clubs such as Udinese and Castelnuovo, both in Italy.

Oliveirense was 'recast' for the 2025/26 edition of the II League, after having been relegated to Liga 3, benefiting from Boavista's exclusion from professional competitions, given the lack of proof of non-debt.

The team led by Jorge Pinto will start the championship by hosting Farense, for the first round, on Monday, August 11, starting at 6:00 pm, in a game scheduled for Santa Maria da Feira.
