A brace from Cristiano Júnior, Cristiano Ronaldo's son, and a goal from Rafael Cabral, gave Portugal victory in the Vlatko Markovic under-15 tournament today, beating Croatia 3-2.

Júnior, a player from Al Nassr's youth academy, was a starting choice and scored his first goal for the Portuguese national team, in a tournament in which he was capped by Portugal for the first time.

The first goal was scored in the 13th minute, with Cristiano Júnior shooting hard from the left side of the attack and celebrating in the same way as his father, and the second came after he appeared at the far post to head the ball in the 44th minute, following a pass from Carlos Moita.

Both times, Croatia equalized, through Ivan Caleta, in the 27th minute, and Rio Joka, in the 60th, but Rafael Cabral gave Portugal the victory very close to the end, in the 79th minute.

Portugal won this private under-15 tournament, organized in Croatia, for the first time, after one title from Argentina, one from the United States and four from the host country.
