Captain at the helm. Sporting's likely starting eleven against Benfica

Sporting visits Benfica this Saturday, in the long-awaited derby of the 33rd round of the I Liga, in which they know, in advance, that, in case of victory, regardless of the difference, they will guarantee the mathematical conquest of the national champion title.

If, in the 'hard-won' 2-1 triumph over Gil Vicente, Rui Borges made some 'savings', now, the prospect is that 'all the meat will be put on the grill', starting with the return to the starting line-up of Morten Hjulmand, who was rested, to avoid the yellow card that would keep him out of Luz.

Nuno Santos, Daniel Bragança and João Simões will remain out of the coach's options, as they continue to recover from serious injuries and will therefore not play again this season.
