The Polish women's volleyball team won the tournament in Chiba 3-1 against South Korea. However, their subsequent matches resulted in 1-3 defeats to Brazil and 1-3 to Japan. After eleven matches in the VNL 2025, the Polish women's volleyball team has an 8-3 record and 24 points.

In their final match of the intercontinental phase, they will face Bulgaria. Poland's opponents have a 4-7 record and 11 points. In the tournament in Japan, they lost 1-3 to Brazil, 1-3 to France, and defeated South Korea 3-2.
Poland and Bulgaria have played each other three times in the Nations League so far. Poland won two matches (3-1 in 2019, 3-1 in 2023) and Bulgaria prevailed once (1-3 in 2022). All matches were played in the group stage.
Eighteen nations are competing in the first phase of the Women's Volleyball Nations League. The final tournament, featuring eight teams, will be held in Łódź from July 23rd to 27th. As hosts of the final event, Poland has secured a place in the quarterfinals.
The Women's Volleyball Nations League was first held in 2018, replacing the World Grand Prix held from 1993 to 2017. Previous editions have been won by the USA (2018, 2019, 2021), Italy (2022, 2024), and Turkey (2023). Poland's best performances were in the two previous years (2023 and 2024), where they won bronze medals.
