Stal Mielec has found a replacement for Szkurin! He is a former top scorer

Jean-David Beauguel has become a new player of FKS Stal Mielec. The French striker in the team from Podkarpacie will replace Ilya Shkurin, who moved to Legia Warsaw for 1.5 million euros during the winter transfer window.
Jean-David Beauguel has signed a contract with Stal Mielec until June 30, 2025. The 32-year-old most recently played for Saudi Al-Wehda, where he was loaned from Chinese Qingdao West Coast. However, he has been without a club since January.

In the past, Beauguel played for Viktoria Plzen, where he won the Czech championship in the 2021/22 season. He was the top scorer in the league individually, scoring 19 goals.
The Frenchman also has 28 appearances in the Dutch Eredivisie on his CV, having played for RKC Waalwijk in 2013-2014.
Beauguel's task in the team led by Janusz Niedźwiedź will be to replace the current main striker of Stal, Ilya Shkurin. The Belarusian has recently swapped Mielec for Warsaw, becoming a new player of Legia.
