Before the return matches, London's Chelsea were in the best position. "The Blues" won 4:1 away from Djurgarden last week and it looked like the home match would be a formality. Real Betis and Fiorentina, on the other hand, were in a much different situation. The Spaniards won 2:1 at home, so their advantage over the Italians was slight. Especially since the return match was played in Florence.

Chelsea, as expected, confirmed their superiority, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scoring in the 38th minute to make it 1-0. The entire first half was dominated by the hosts, who had 69% of the ball. The Swedes had no reason to think about remontada.

In the second half, the English team did not push the pace. They maintained their advantage and, thanks to a 5-1 aggregate victory, they fully deservedly reached the final.

The second semi-final was definitely more action-packed. It started better for Betis, who took a 1-0 lead in the 30th minute (3-1 on aggregate). Fiorentina, however, did not give up and made up for the deficit before the break. Robin Gosens scored a double, equalising the entire competition.

No more goals were scored until the end of the regular time. This meant only one thing - the necessity of extra time. In it, Betis players proved to be better, scoring the decisive goal. The match ended with the result 2:2, and the two-legged match - a victory for the Spaniards 4:3.

The grand finale of the Conference League will feature Chelsea and Betis - the teams that eliminated Legia Warsaw and Jagiellonia Białystok, respectively, in the quarter-finals.
