Adam Adamus has died. He previously played for Legia Warsaw.

Adam Adamus was born in Kielce and made his top-flight debut in the 1969/70 season for Gwardia Warszawa. In the 1974/75 season, he played for Legia Warsaw, making five appearances for them.

He then spent five years with Bałtyk Gdynia, with whom he won promotion to the second and first leagues, the highest division of the league. He played in attack.

After retiring from football, he became a coach. He managed Bałtyk three times and also coached Arka, with whom he won promotion to the second division. At Bałtyk, he also coached junior teams.

He also worked in other regions of Poland, including managing Piast Gliwice in 1986. His last club was GTS Kolbudy in the 2011/12 season.

Adam Adamus died on November 8, Arka reported. He was 76 years old.
