A strong signal to their rivals! Poland beats Canada and races to a medal at the World Championships in the Philippines.

A strong signal to their rivals! Poland beats Canada and races to a medal at the World Championships in the Philippines.

A slight hesitation in the second set. Other than that, no surprises.

Before the tournament in the Philippines, Poland was the favorite to win the gold medal. They have been leading the FIVB rankings for a while now and recently celebrated a triumph in the Nations League. They are now continuing their march toward a World Championship medal.

They dropped only a set in the group stage. They sent another strong signal in the Round of 16 against Canada. The team finished second in Group G, eliminating Japan. However, they were helpless against the Polish national team, although our team did show a moment of hesitation in the second set.

They lost the set, but then dominated their opponents in every aspect of volleyball. They won impressively 3-1, letting the other medal contenders know they're a force to be reckoned with. Nikola Grbić's squad is capable of great things.

Poles show power in the Philippines

With each match, the Poles are looking better and better. It's worth noting that the substitutes are constantly appearing on the pitch and haven't let down. Coach Grbić has a lot of options. Lineup changes don't affect the quality of play, and each new player provides a positive boost. They've already won four sets and only lost two.

Kamil Semeniuk excelled against the Canadians, scoring 18 points. Captain Bartosz Kurek (15) and Wilfredo Leon (14) also contributed. They are the team's leaders in the World Championships. Other players who performed exceptionally well include:

· Jakub Kochanowski,

· Norbert Huber,

· Marcin Komenda,

· Tomasz Fornal,

· Kevin Sasak.

In every match they show their power and scare their opponents.

One win away from the medal zone

Just one victory now separates Poland from advancing to the medal round at the World Championships in the Philippines. They are in the quarterfinals, where they will face the Turks. This is their biggest success to date. They are playing surprisingly well and are easily eliminating their opponents. Now, however, a much more difficult task awaits them. The Poles have won all six of their matches against the Turks in recent years and are looking to continue their fantastic streak.

Will there be a fourth final in a row?

Of course, the Polish national team's aspirations are much higher than the semifinals. They're hoping to reach the World Cup final for the fourth consecutive year. Last year, they lost to Italy. It looks like they'll face them in the semifinals. This clash of giants could decide who will play for gold. But first, they have to deal with their quarterfinal opponents.

The Poland-Turkey match is on Wednesday, September 24th, starting at 2:00 PM Polish time. The broadcast will be carried on Polsat's main channel and on its sports channels. Fans will also enjoy an attractive expert studio. Thousands of Polish fans will be watching, hoping for a sure advancement to the semifinals – see HERE for details on the Polish volleyball match broadcast.
