The 36th edition of the Atlas Half Marathon was successfully celebrated.

This Sunday was the 36th edition of the Atlas Half Marathon , an event in which seven thousand runners ran through the main roads of Zapopan and Guadalajara.
In this edition, the winners were Adela from the capital Honorato Domínguez in the women's branch and Carlos Alberto Álvarez from Puebla in the men's branch .
The event was a success despite inclement weather, which caused a 30-minute delay due to the heavy rain that hit much of the Guadalajara metropolitan area.
The official start was not until 6:55 a.m., and Club Atlas president Víctor Flores Cosío was in charge of giving the starting shot.
Carlos Alberto Álvarez placed at the top of the podium with a time of 1:04:35; he was joined by Gabriel Arroyo and Jorge Luis Cruz, both from the State of Mexico.
In the women's event, Adela Domínguez completed her victory in 1:16:02. She was joined on the podium by Mayra Sánchez, who took second place, and Fanny Oropeza, who took third place.
The Atlas Half Marathon became a great sporting event , accompanied by numerous family members and children who experienced a great atmosphere, both for the runners and for those who accompanied them.
The event awarded a total prize pool of 600,000 pesos to the winners in all categories , and also enjoyed the support of state and municipal authorities from Zapopan and Guadalajara.
