The Saraperos de Saltillo appeared at the Francisco I. Madero Stadium for the last game of the series against Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos , after Tecos secured the series in the second game after dominating the first 14-2 and taking the second with a score of 5-4.

La Nave Verde introduced Sergio Omar Gastélum as its new manager this afternoon, following the departure of Enrique "Che" Reyes just a day earlier, following a difficult record for the team with only two series wins and a record of 9 wins and 14 losses.

Cristofer Ogando was in charge of opening the game for Saraperos . The game began with Tecolotes quickly taking a lead with a run by Cade Gotta and three more RBIs by Harold Ramírez, Johan Camargo and Rangel Ravelo for an initial score of 4-0.

Saraperos responded immediately in the bottom of the first inning. Brandon Villarreal scored the home run, followed by a home run by Alejandro "El Samurai" Mejía that drove in Fabricio Macías. This made the score 4-3.

The momentum continued with a home run by Emmanuel Ávila and two more RBIs by Missael Rivera and Alex Mejía, putting Saraperos ahead 6-4. Before closing out the first inning , Brandon Villarreal scored another run on a single by Carlos Martínez to make it 7-4.

Saltillo 's lead extended in the third inning thanks to a home run by Fabricio Macías , which brought Keven Lamas and Brandon Villarreal to the bases for an 11-4 lead. Renato Nuñez added another in the same inning.

Tecolotes attempted a comeback with a home run by Yadiel Hernández in the fifth inning to make the score 11-5. Later, a throwing error by Ali Castillo allowed Alex Mejía to score the 12th run for Saraperos .

In the seventh inning , Tecos narrowed the gap with another home run by Yadiel Hernández (6-12). However, in the eighth, Drew DeVine hit a home run to extend the lead to 13-6.

The ninth inning was exciting. Tecolotes scored four runs thanks to a home run by Harold Ramírez and RBIs by Cade Gotta, Ali Castillo, and Johan Camargo , closing the field to 13-11. Despite some defensive errors, Saltillo 's bullpen, with Alexandro Tovalín on the mound, closed out the game and secured the victory for Saraperos .

With this win, Saltillo ends a three-game losing streak and shows signs of recovery in this new phase. Now, the Saraperos prepare to host Algodoneros de Unión Laguna this Friday at 7:30 p.m. at home.
