Record participation is expected in the 15K GIS San Isidro with more than 3,000 runners in Saltillo.

Saltillo is preparing to welcome thousands of runners this Sunday, May 18, in the 48th edition of the traditional San Isidro 15K Race . The event, organized by the Saltillo Industrial Group (GIS) , will begin at 6:30 a.m. outside the Olympic Stadium at the Sports City , from which participants will head down some of the main avenues of the Coahuila capital.
Organizers announced a few days ago that registrations were still available and hope to reach 3,000 runners , a figure that would mark a new record for participation. GIS employees in countries such as Spain, Poland, China, Italy, and the Czech Republic will also run 15 kilometers in their respective territories.
The finish line will once again be located inside the stadium, where participants will run the final 200 meters before finishing the course. These categories also apply to the women's division, in addition to wheelchair and blind athletes.
