In the series opener between Dorados de Chihuahua and Saraperos de Saltillo , the home team took the win by a score of 7-3, thanks to an offense that responded in key moments and took advantage of the opponent's errors during the first innings.
Saraperos took the lead in the first inning with a double by JP Martínez that drove in Brandon Villarreal for a 1-0 lead, although he was thrown out trying to reach third. The lead was short-lived.
