Chaos and shoving upon the national team's arrival in Chile: the AFA filed a complaint for violating security protocol in Santiago.

Traveling across South America for the Copa Libertadores, the Copa Sudamericana, and the World Cup qualifiers always open up controversial chapters. That's why they're often called the toughest matches in all of world football. This Wednesday, the Argentine national soccer team suffered a "mistake" that caused discontent among the players and coaching staff who arrived in Chile for this Thursday's match, Matchday 15.

What happened? Once they landed in Santiago on a chartered flight, the Albiceleste delegation had to navigate through the large crowd that had gathered at Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport. There was pushing and shoving to stop attempts to reach the players and also insults directed at the world champions.
The ANFP, which was in charge of coordinating the arrival, did not comply with the protocol required by FIFA for official delegations, which dictates that they travel inside a security capsule.
