Barça's preseason has taken a turn: they're already traveling to Japan for the Asian tour after the messy match against Vissel Kobe.

Two days after announcing in a statement that their trip to Japan was canceled, FC Barcelona is finally flying to the Asian country for their preseason tour after resolving their issues with the promoter of the match against Vissel Kobe.

The club announced this Friday in a statement, stating that this change comes after "all the issues that forced FC Barcelona to cancel its participation in the match against Vissel Kobe two days ago have been resolved and are back on the agenda (July 27)."

"After completing this first leg of the tour, the Barcelona team will travel to South Korea , where they have two more matches scheduled against FC Seoul FC (July 31) and Daegu FC (August 4)," he added.

The Blaugrana club returns to Asia for the first time since 2019 and does so with a squad that already includes all three of this summer's signings, but not Marc Ter Stegen , who announced this Thursday that he has to undergo surgery again for his back problems.

Thus, goalkeeper Joan García, called to be the starter this season, is part of Hansi Flick's squad for this Asian tour, as is Marcus Rashford , who has just arrived in the Catalan club and has not yet trained.

Roony Bardghji has also joined the squad. The 19-year-old Swedish player aims to convince the German coach to stay with the first team this season , as his performance in the reserve team or a loan move are also on the table.
