Atlético Club San Martín woke up and thrashed Huracán Las Heras 4-0.

Atlético Club San Martín shook off the bad luck it had been carrying at home, easily thrashing Huracán Las Heras 4-0. Paraguayan Felipe Rivarola was the star of the night with a brace, while Nicolás Heiz and Santiago Cuenca also scored.
The start of the first half was electrifying, with both teams determined to attack the opposing goal without hesitation, and with a lot of strong footwork . Gabriel Vallés decided to take risks, placing the outside midfielders Ortega and Cortés close to the home side's full-backs. While both teams won a few chances, they couldn't find the right finish.
San Martín, for its part, focused on recovering the ball in the defensive zone and connecting with its attacking players, who had space and time to cause damage. Thus, in a flurry, the home side took the lead. First, Simionato cleared his marker and delivered a fine cross that Heiz brought down, and Paraguayan Rivarola sent it home with a superb volley. Then, two minutes later, Mancini evaded the ball down the right and found Nicolás Heiz, to the delight of the Albirrojo.

From then on, it was all Albirrojo's doing, pinning Huracán down and forcing them to stop pushing forward , despite getting close with a deflected free kick from Inostroza and a great finish from Muñoz. Chacarero even came close to scoring a third with a cross from Almeida that Rivarola miraculously failed to deflect.

The second half started off awkwardly for the visitors. In the second minute, Tomás López tackled Rivarola and received his second yellow card , leaving his team with ten men. The coach had to substitute a midfielder to rebuild his defensive line, losing influence in the midfield.
Due to the two goals up and the numerical advantage, San Martín lowered their voices and slowed down the game. Nevertheless, they remained dangerous in space and came close to scoring with a deflected shot from Simionato and another from Heiz.

Just when it seemed like the score was 2-0, the final blows came. In the 36th minute, Mancini took a corner, and Cuenca changed its trajectory, beating Aracena. A few minutes later, Rivarola received the ball in the three-quarter line and, without a second thought, slotted it into the top corner . A stunning goal capped off a perfect night for León.
