Valentin Carboni goes on loan to Genoa, and Inter pays: more minutes on the pitch, more money for the Rossoblu.

There are still a few small details to be ironed out in these hours, and then Valentin Carboni will become a new Genoa player. An agreement with Inter has now been reached, through a rather unusual formula. In addition to loaning the Argentine talent to Genoa for free, the Nerazzurri will also pay the Grifone. The agreement was reached on a dry loan, but paradoxically, the Rossoblu will stand to gain: the more Carboni plays, the more Inter will pay a series of bonuses up to a maximum of approximately one million euros.

Marotta, Ausilio, and Inter's intentions are therefore clear. The goal is to maximize the Argentine star's development, after last year—when Carboni moved to Marseille at Roberto De Zerbi's request—Valentin was forced to "burn out" an important season of development due to a cruciate ligament tear, which virtually wiped out his French experience. And so the transfer window between Inter and Genoa is increasingly taking shape: if Carboni heads down the A7 toward Genoa in the next few days, it's not out of the question that one of De Winter or Frendrup will do the same in the opposite direction a few weeks later. But in the meantime, Valentin Carboni will be first.
