The Torneo delle Frazioni – Città di Castiglion Fiorentino, which has been animating the summer evenings at the Boscatello sports facility for about two weeks, is entering its decisive phase. After a first part of great participation and spectacle, it is time for the semifinals.

This evening, Monday 7 July, we take to the field to decree the two finalists of the 2025 edition. At 9 pm Alta Valle and Castroncello will face each other, while at 10 pm it will be the turn of Montecchio PMV against Noceta. At stake is access to the highly anticipated final, scheduled for Wednesday 9 July at 9 pm, again on the synthetic pitch of Boscatello.

The tournament, organized in collaboration with CSI Arezzo and with the patronage of the Municipality of Castiglion Fiorentino, saw a significant participation of teams and great enthusiasm from the public, who packed the stands every evening.

On Wednesday 9 July, at the end of the final, together with the winning team of the tournament, the top scorer will also be awarded with the “Cesare Cappelletti Memorial” and the winning team will be awarded the “Fair Play” prize.

"We are very satisfied with the participation and enthusiasm that have been there in these days - says the Councilor with responsibility for clubs and hamlets, Alessandro Concettoni - the Torneo delle Frazioni is a sporting event, but it also represents an opportunity to enhance the role of clubs and hamlets. We are working to support these moments of aggregation also with administrative interventions, with first-level services and initiatives designed to strengthen the bond with the territory. The goal is to recreate a strong sense of belonging, through sporting events but also cultural and social ones. Precisely with this in mind, we are already working on new initiatives, also in view of the winter period".
