Sinner and Cobolli, the two Italians in the Wimbledon quarterfinals: what time they play and the complete draw.

Sinner and Cobolli, the two Italians in the Wimbledon quarterfinals: what time they play and the complete draw.

Today at Wimbledon, a double-header unmissable for tennis fans. Jannik Sinner and Flavio Cobolli will compete in the quarterfinals, vying for a spot in the semifinals. Sinner, recovering from a fall in his match against Dimitrov (a blow to his right elbow, the results of which have not been released), will face Ben Shelton on Court 1, following the match between Iga Swiatek and Liudmila Samsomova (starting at 2 p.m. Italian time).

Cobolli instead makes her debut on the centre court of the most prestigious Slam, against seven-time grass-court champion Novak Djokovic (chasing the 25th major of his career): before them, starting at 2:30 pm, there is the other women's quarterfinal between Mirra Andreeva and Belinda Bencic.

Yesterday, Sinner trained briefly on an indoor court, as coach Darren Cahill explained, after the last-minute cancellation of an outdoor training session that had raised doubts and concerns about his fitness. We'll find out how he is in a few hours.

Meanwhile, we have the names of the other two semi-finalists: world number 2 and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, as expected (he clearly prevailed against Cameron Norrie), and American Taylor Fritz, who beat Karen Khachanov.

In the women's singles, the first semifinal will be between world number one Aryna Sabalenka, who has never won the Wimbledon title, and Amanda Anisimova.
