Selva Bassa Sporting Club Trophy, running in Quarrata

Quarrata (Pistoia), 12 June 2025 – The Sporting Club Selva Bassa of Quarrata hosted, thanks to the efficient logistical organization of Podistica Quarrata, the sixth edition of the Trophy on an 8.6 km course reserved for competitive runners, flanked by a shorter 5 km version dedicated to walkers.

To complete the offer, the club's hospitality and convivial structure warmly welcomed the numerous participants. The sports center, a true pearl set in the hills of Quarrata overlooking the historic Villa La Magia, offers sports enthusiasts tennis courts, padel courts, 5-a-side and 7-a-side football, as well as a swimming pool for adults and another for water activities.

Great success for this stage of the circuit, which saw the participation of over 400 runners. The panoramic and suggestive route took the participants to the top of the hill, offering a breathtaking view that embraces the entire panorama between Florence and Pistoia. The timing was handled by the UISP Judges Committee of Pistoia, with the patronage of the Municipality of Quarrata. The photo shoot was carried out by ETS “Regalami un sorriso”.
