Lorenzo Musetti retired early in the fifth set in the semifinal at Roland Garros , with the score at 4-6, 7-6, 6-0. 1-0. Carlos Alcaraz is the first finalist.

Musetti left the court almost in tears after retiring in the fifth set of the Roland Garros semifinal due to a physical problem, while his opponent, Carlos Alcaraz , immediately had a thought for him. "Winning like this is not pleasant," said the Spaniard. "Musetti has had a fantastic clay season, one of the few in the last 30 years to have reached the semifinals in all the important tournaments. I wish him the best and that he can come back as quickly as possible and start playing again."
