Real Forio, another lesson in strength: six goals and a resounding lead. The match against Quarto ends 4-6.

Real Forio, another lesson in strength: six goals and a resounding lead. The match against Quarto ends 4-6.

Real Forio knows no bounds. In Quarto, in a thrilling and at times surreal match, Carlo Sanchez 's green-and-whites secured a victory from another era: six goals, a textbook comeback, and the attitude of a league leader. A match that speaks volumes about much more than the result, because Real Forio managed to bounce back from a deficit three times, always remaining true to their style of play.

The match opened with a thrilling start: in the second minute, Santiago scored, but the linesman ruled it offside. Shortly after, in the ninth minute , Alaia saved the home side with a providential save on the same attacker. Real Forio pushed forward, seeking space and creating play, but Quarto took the lead with the first real opportunity: in the 12th minute , after a scramble in the penalty area, Musella capitalized on a short save from Delizia after three saves to make it 1-0.

The Forio reaction was immediate: in the 17th minute, Florio produced a perfect cross, Iaccarino acted as a tower, and Di Lorenzo fired home to make it 1-1. There was no time to breathe as in the 22nd minute, Guarracino put the Rossoblù back in front with an assist from Carannante , capitalizing on a defensive lapse. But Real Forio was alive: Santiago tested the keeper with a free kick, Castagna nearly scored with a masterful sombrero, and in the 32nd minute , the equalizer arrived with a textbook move. Florio crossed, Santiago headed it to Castagna , who volleyed with his left foot to make it 2-2.

There wasn't even time to celebrate, as in the 34th minute Di Gennaro found the perfect corner with a right-footed shot from outside the area: 3-2 Quarto. The Islanders, however, remained undeterred. Florio and Santiago continued to communicate like true technical leaders, creating constant danger until the end of the first half.

The second half was a testament to the Forian spirit. In the second minute of the second half, Di Lorenzo curled in a masterful free kick from 30 yards: the ball went into the top corner, making it 3-3. Quarto tried to react and charged forward with intensity, aided by a refereeing direction that was understated. The home team took the lead again in the 14th minute of the second half, with Visconti scoring with a half-bicycle kick after a save from Di Costanzo .

Real Forio, once again, remained unfazed. Di Lorenzo whipped in a perfect corner in the 19th minute of the second half , and Velotti rose to make it 4-4. Then the tension on the pitch grew: Florio was headbutted, Yeboah was knocked to the ground after a rough foul, but the islanders remained calm. In the 30th minute of the second half , the episode changed everything: Velotti launched a pass from the back of the pitch, Santiago controlled it, skipped past the defender, and beat Alaia with icy composure. 5-4, and the ball suddenly reappeared on the sidelines, along with the Quarto ball boys, who had mysteriously disappeared up until that point.

In the final minutes Real Forio controlled the game, Delizia saved from a shot from outside the area in the 47th minute, then in the 48th minute the curtain fell: Di Lorenzo dug in a ball on the right, fought all the way to the byline and served Arrulo , who scored the final 6-3.

A crucial victory, born of skill, conviction, and a team that knows how to endure and attack with equal intensity. Carlo Sanchez 's Real Forio remains undefeated and, more than ever, deservedly tops the table.
