Juve, Mourinho wants Vlahovic: the details of Fenerbahçe's offer

The summer of football is really starting. The engines are hot and the chatter is getting more and more consistent, because the pawns are ready to move. Juventus has a very important pawn to move: Dusan Vlahovic. The highest paid in the squad, the team's center forward, the top scorer of the 2024-25 season: he will leave Turin, in all likelihood, and for him everything is ready for words to become facts. Credit goes to Fenerbahçe, who are the first to move to knock on the Juventus door, offering themselves as the buyer of the striker who is a symbol of Serbia. The club that last week finished the Turkish championship in second place with José Mourinho on the bench is ready to make the first move and the determination with which the yellow and blues are about to pounce on Vlahovic is measured - inevitably - by the size of the economic offer that is being finalized in Istanbul. And the one leaving from the Bosphorus Strait is very respectable, one that Turin will be happy to receive. Fenerbahçe is in fact ready to go as high as 30 million for the player's contract, which expires in 2026, and to tempt Vlahovic with a salary proposal of 10 million euros per year. In the mutual monitoring of the competition, from Galatasaray to Atletico Madrid, the yellow and blues are preparing to spring forward.
It's early June and we're talking about the first offer which, as is normal in the game of parts, does not match the requests. As a starting point it is auspicious, then the law of supply and demand will do the rest. Juventus, for example, starts with a request of 40 million: it is a more than reasonable figure for the quality of the Serbian and for the 25 years of age that guarantee a long-term contribution and leave room for further growth. However, Dusan's contract is expiring and the Bianconeri would like to lighten their salary of 12 million net that they should pay him by contract from 1 July, approximately 24 gross. For this reason, even the 30 would be a good deal unless an upward auction is triggered. A similar discussion can be made for the player's salary, who perhaps would prefer to stay at 12 but who then has to understand through the facts what kind of offers he will receive in the summer. The Istanbul 10 are many, unmatched in Serie A.
Obviously, as always, it will be up to the player to understand if the Turkish championship is the destination he desires for the immediate future. Sure, the Premier League has more glitter, but the real alternatives on the table must always be weighed... Fenerbahçe, already in contact with the entourage, certainly have a starting spot ready for him: they want to make him the gravitational center around which the offensive department would revolve after the farewell of Edin Dzeko and Dusan Tadic, two strikers with 34 goals in total this season. Thanks to the championship position, in August Fenerbahçe will debut in the preliminaries to have a place in the Champions League, a showcase that can act as a driving force towards an absolute top club in the event of convincing performances. And, who knows, a release clause could perhaps convince him to sign, grind out minutes towards the 2026 World Cup (at risk if he stays at Juventus) and then try to earn a call from the big teams: in light of a season with 15 total goals, they now seem to be hesitating. With him in their sights, Fenerbahçe are trying to show Mourinho that the club is preparing to give him a Champions League team.
Meanwhile, in Turin, work continues on the attack of the future. The dream remains Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting Lisbon, who however costs at least 70 million euros and has a lot of competition after 54 goals this season, while Mateo Retegui of Atalanta and Gonçalo Ramos of Paris Saint-Germain seem more accessible (40-50 million). And for Jonathan David, released by Lille, they are evaluating: 6 million euros ready plus salary bonus, commissions and signing bonus to be understood.
