Forlì, February 27, 2025 – Forlì's positive streak ends against Nardò. The Salentini win at the Unieuro Arena 69-82 in the midweek, inflicting a severe punishment on the home team, never ahead in the score and booed by their fans at the end of the game. Russ Smith is the absolute star of the game: 37 points in just under 25'. Nardò starts off in fifth gear and with Mouaha extends the lead to +8 (10-18) already in the first quarter. The home team has a jolt with fresh forces coming off the bench (19-20), but immediately after the abyss opens up. In fact, Unieuro 'signs' a second quarter that is nothing short of negative (10 points scored), with very little energy, and the Salentini fly to a double-digit advantage until the +15 of the long break on 29-44. Forlì tries to reopen the contest with Harper's baskets (38-46) and now the red and whites have a different verve. Smith however re-establishes and then widens the gap with three-pointers, bringing his team ahead up to +21 (43-64). Shortly after Nardò also reaches the maximum advantage of the challenge at +22 (48-70) with almost 8' to go. Cinciarini and his teammates are unable to go beyond -9 (69-78) in the final.
