Italy drew 1-1 (0-0) with Portugal in Geneva in the second match of the European Championship women. After the victory over Belgium, the Azzurre were close to a new success, which was worth direct access to the quarter-finals final, thanks to Girelli's goal in the 25th minute of the second half, but at 44' Gomez equalized. Group B standings sees Italy second with 4 points behind Spain, next opponent of the Italian national team, with full points, then the Portugal at 1 point and Belgium stuck at zero.
