Novak Djokovic returns to the court at Wimbledon 2025 for the second round of the tournament. Today, Thursday 3 July , the former world number one faces Daniel Evans on Centre Court, in London with a wild card . The British player beat his compatriot Jay Clarke in the previous round, while the Serbian eliminated the Frenchman Alexandre Muller . The match between Djokovic and Evans will start around 2.30 pm on the Centre Court . There is only one precedent between the two, dating back to the round of 16 of the Masters 1000 in Monte Carlo in 2021.
