Club World Cup: Juventus-Manchester City 2-5

Manchester City crushed Juventus 5-2 in the match valid for the third day of Group G of the Club World Cup and finished the group in first place with a full nine points.

The Bianconeri, already certain of qualifying for the round of 16, remain stuck at six points and finish second.

Doku broke the deadlock in the 9th minute with a shot to the far post, two minutes later Koopmeiners equalised after a mistake by goalkeeper Ederson. In the 26th minute the English took the lead again thanks to a naive own goal by Kalulu on a cross by Savinho. In the second half, Guardiola's team ran riot with goals from two steps away by new arrivals Haaland and Foden, before Savinho scored a wonder goal from outside the area in the 30th minute. In the final minutes, in the 39th minute, Vlahovic, on a splendid assist by Yildiz, made the deficit less heavy for the final 5-2.
