Tipperary V Laois: How To Watch, TV Info, Team News

Tipperary V Laois: How To Watch, TV Info, Team News

Following the disappointment of losing a second Joe McDonagh Cup final in a row, Laois must dust themselves down in time for this weekend's preliminary quarter-final clash with Tipperary.

Tipperary under Liam Cahill have made steady progress and are massive favourites to progress to the All-Ireland quarterfinals to face old rivals Galway.

Tipp finished third in Munster following impressive wins over Waterford and Clare along with an opening round draw at home to Limerick. With Tipperary hurling experiencing a wave of positivity from their improved senior performances and their recent U20 All-Ireland win it will be vital for them to keep that momentum going.

Laois squeaked into the Joe McDonagh final after a last-gasp goal against Carlow in the group stages but were soundly beaten by Kildare into the showpiece game in Croke Park. The decision of forward Charlie "Cha" Dwyer to leave the Laois panel following a disagreement with management in the lead-up to the final was a blow for Tommy Fitzgerald's men but Kildare were full value for their win and this Saturday.

We have all the info you need ahead of Saturday's game.
