Donegal manager Jim McGuinness says his side face “a massive challenge” in Armagh to retain their Ulster senior football crown.

The Tir Chonaill men reached a 12th provincial decider in 15 years on Sunday by seeing off Down on a 1-19 to 0-16 scoreline in Clones.

Speaking to BBC Sport after his side’s six-point win, McGuinness said he’s now looking forward to what should be “a fantastic occasion” against the Orchard men on May 10th.

"That's our third game in three weeks and that definitely does take it out of you eventually but no we're happy to be in the final," said the 2012 All-Ireland winning boss.

"Armagh are back there again. That's going to be a massive challenge for us. All-Ireland champions and a repeat of last year's final.

"We know what's going to be coming but at the same time, we also know that it's going to be a massive occasion and a fantastic occasion with colour and all that so we have to look forward to it as well."
