Carlos Alcaraz clears up relationship rumours after model's sister 'confirmed' romance

Carlos Alcaraz has already put rumours about his dating life to bed after it emerged that he was dating American model Brooks Nader, telling his inner circle that he is “single”. After Alcaraz lifted the US Open trophy for the second time in his career, Brooks’ sister, Grace Ann Nader, seemingly confirmed their relationship.

But new details about the world No. 1’s love life have now come to light, and Alcaraz has downplayed suggestions of any serious romance with the former Dancing with the Stars contestant.

During New York Fashion Week, Grace Ann confirmed that Brooks and six-time Major winner Alcaraz were an item. She told E! News: “The rumours are true. Dating is such a loose term. But I do know he’s the man of the hour.”

However, Spanish journalist Alberto Guzman has now put those rumours to bed, revealing that Alcaraz recently confirmed his relationship status.

“They're not dating, it's not an official relationship,” he said during an appearance on the No Somos Nadie TV show.

“He confirmed to those close to him that he is single and has no intention of having any serious relationships.”

As for Grace Ann’s recent comments about a blossoming romance between Brooks and Alcaraz, Guzman suggested: “Maybe she is not well informed.”

Neither Brooks nor Alcaraz themselves have addressed rumours. But the model was forced to clear up speculation that she was dating another tennis star, Alcaraz’s biggest rival, Jannik Sinner.

Grace Ann fuelled rumours last month when she appeared on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio and said Brooks had “a little roster” of potential boyfriends, with men from “every field and court.”

Asked to name names, Grace Ann hinted that it “rhymes with winner” and said: “There are many players in the game.” Brooks jumped in and told her sister: “Stop talking! I’m going to punch you when we get home already.”

Brooks, who came ninth on Dancing with the Stars last year, then appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show and shut down speculation that she and Sinner were an item. “Are you dating Italian tennis superstar Jannik Sinner?” she was asked.

Brooks replied: “Is this, like, an interrogation? I'm so scared right now! Well, ask Stephen [Colbert] what match we were at. I don't think he was playing in that one.”

Brooks and Grace Ann Nader are the stars of their own new reality TV series along with their other siblings. Love Thy Nader was released at the end of August.

Alcaraz is back home in Murcia, enjoying a rare week off with his loved ones. He will soon travel back to the States for the upcoming Laver Cup, which will take place this year in San Francisco.
