Volleyball. From Mexico to Thailand: To recruit, the VNVB traveled around the world in a balloon
Thirteen players, three coaches, eleven nationalities: like most French clubs, VNVB has recruited internationally. This is a common practice in the French championship, but also a strategy specific to a club that wants to keep an eye on the entire volleyball world.
During the 2022-2023 season, VNVB was a pioneer in recruiting Mika Shibata, the first Japanese player in the French league (alongside Nantes, with Kanami Tashiro). This summer, two other countries were added to the VNVB's roster.
