RCT: End of season for Italian international hooker Gianmarco Lucchesi, who underwent knee surgery

The operation was carried out at the Jean-Mermoz Private Hospital by Doctor Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet.
The player was injured on April 5 during the Champions Cup round of 16 match between Toulon and the English team Saracens, which the Varois won (72-42).
Lucchesi, 24, had already undergone surgery on the same knee in December 2022 and was subsequently forced to withdraw from playing in the 2023 World Cup with Italy.
The player will follow his rehabilitation program at RC Toulon.
