PSG-Bayern: "A surprising measure," the Bavarian club denounces a decree from the Paris prefecture

Facing Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday at the Parc des Princes, FC Bayern Munich has filed a complaint with UEFA and plans to take legal action.
PSG vs. Bayern Munich, a highly anticipated clash. Several hundred German fans are expected to travel to Paris for this fourth-round Champions League match. However, according to the Bavarian club, the Paris police prefecture changed the rules at the last minute. In a statement , FC Bayern referred to " a last-minute order to regulate the arrival of fans and establish a security perimeter for the match . The order applies to all supporter buses and stipulates that they must gather at a toll plaza outside the city before the match. It also stipulates, among other things, that all other Bayern supporters must travel to the stadium exclusively by public transport. After the match, everyone must return to their original mode of transport. The buses will then be escorted out of the city by the police."
The statement continued: “ For FC Bayern, the extremely short notice given for this decision is unacceptable, as all the necessary information had been available for weeks, as is the case for all of the Bavarian club's matches. Furthermore, the risk situation for FC Bayern supporters has not changed since the last gathering in Paris in 2023. In accordance with official regulations, supporters' buses should only be able to leave Paris in the early hours of the morning (around 5:00 AM CET) to return home .” The six-time Champions League winner denounced the timing of this “ surprising measure ” and announced that it had “ immediately filed a complaint with UEFA and will initiate legal proceedings .” Bayern asserted that it has the support of Paris Saint-Germain.
