Pau FC has its new striker... and soon its goalkeeper

Pau FC have signed a new striker, Omar Sadik, and could soon formalize the arrival of a French goalkeeper from AC Milan.

After Karamoko, Glossoa, Salles, Versini, Briançon, Deroin, Zuliani, and the permanent transfer of Meddah, Pau FC has added a new striker and could soon formalize the arrival of a goalkeeper. As we reported this Wednesday, Espanyol Barcelona's Moroccan striker, Omar Sadik (21 years old, 1.85 m), arrived in Pau this morning to sign a one-season loan with no option to buy.

Having arrived at the Catalan club in the summer of 2023 from the Mohamed IV Academy, the young Moroccan U20 international (10 caps, 2 goals) recently extended his contract until 2028 after playing mostly with Espanyol's reserve team. He has nevertheless made four appearances for the first team, two in La Liga and two in the Copa del Rey. Regarding another Moroccan striker, Nouste Camp's favorite, Khalid Boutaïb, negotiations for a contract extension appear to have stalled.

Furthermore, following the departures of Bingourou Kamara and Mehdi Jeannin and the arrival of Oloronais Esteban Salles, Pau FC is reportedly on the verge of signing another goalkeeper. According to our information, the young French goalkeeper from AC Milan, Noah Raveyre (20 years old, 1.90 m) has also agreed to join Béarn on loan. Trained at AS Saint-Etienne, with whom he had played one professional match, he left Forez for free in the summer of 2023.

Nicolas Usaï's coaching staff is also undergoing some changes, as his assistant, Nicolas Piresse, returns to a role he previously held during the 2023-2024 season, heading the reserve team (N3), following the departure of Bruno Rohart. The latter has left Pau FC to pursue a new challenge in Africa.

On the pitch, Pau FC continues its summer preparation and, after winning comfortably against Aubagne (4-1) last weekend thanks to goals from Ngop, Mille, Bobichon and Fernandes, Nicolas Usaï's men play this Saturday in Tarbes (5 p.m.), their second preparation match of the summer, against Toulouse FC.
