OGC Nice ends its summer preparation with a victory against Sheffield United (3-2)

Franck Haise's men responded rather well after a generally poor first half and the opening goal conceded to the English Championship club on a poorly managed corner (28', 0-1, Campbell). Proof that all was not perfect, far from it a week before the reception of Benfica in the third preliminary round of the Champions League.
Franck Haise was able to field his best possible eleven (Diouf - Mendy, Bah, Dante - Clauss, Sanson, Boudaoui, Bard - Guessand, Bouanani - Moffi) and still retain some positive points, notably the successes of two long-term injured from last season.
Moffi gains confidenceIf Sanson enhanced his interesting performance by equalizing just before the break, by extending a shot from Bouanani (44', 1-1), it was above all Terem Moffi who gave himself a nice dose of confidence by scoring his first goal of the summer preparation with a nice curling left foot (68', 2-1).
The three-man Nice defense (Mendy, Bah, Dante) was able to measure the adjustments still to be made with the second equalizer of the match conceded on a double error of judgment by the Brazilian captain, then by the recruit loaned by Manchester City (73', 2-2, Okaki).
But the biggest blunder of the match was yet to come with the own goal scored from more than twenty meters by Borrows (80', 3-2) to offer a trivial victory to the Gym as an intimate trial run before the big jump in the C1 preliminary round.
