Mussidan once again distinguished himself at the French championships

After the French triples championships in Bergerac, the Mussidanese doubles distinguished themselves in Charente.
Following the French Mixed Triples Championships in Bergerac, where the Mussidan team finished runner-up, the Dordogne region was well represented in Saint-Yrieix-sur-Charente for two new French Championships. In the women's doubles competition, the two pairs were Lindsay Loustalot and Charlène Debord (Mussidan), as well as Maïté Faure and Valérie Moncuit (Saint-Aulaye). In the men's individual competition, Mussidan's Richard "Jessy" Feltain and Montpon's Jonathan Labrue represented the Dordogne region.
A double in the semi-finalRegarding the latter, Jessy Feltain lost in the play-off at the end of the group stage. Jonathan Labrue went a little further, being knocked out in the round of 32 by a representative from Loiret.
In the women's competition, Maïté Faure and Valérie Moncuit were unable to reach the final phase. However, Lindsay Loustalot and Charlène Debord qualified for the round of 16, where they eliminated a pair from Eure-et-Loir. The Mussidanaises then eliminated two players from Yvelines in the round of 16 and then the women from Haute-Savoie in the quarterfinals, each time by the same score (13-2). They finally lost in the semifinals (13-3), against the future French champions from Var, Anna Maillard and Cindy Peyrot, winners of the final 13-0 against a pair from Puy-de-Dôme.
