In Hamburg, Loïs Boisson wins her first WTA tournament

The Frenchwoman, a revelation at the last tournament at the Porte d'Auteuil, won her first title on the WTA circuit after her victory in the final of the clay court tournament in Hamburg, this Sunday, July 20 against the Hungarian Anna Bondár (7-5/6-3).

The 22-year-old, a surprise semi-finalist in Paris in the spring, returned to her best tennis in Germany. With her final victory, the world number 63 is poised to break into the top 50.
