Dordogne Youth Departmental Cup Finals: Trélissac doubly happy, unlike Sanilhac

Prigonrieux lost all three of its finals this weekend, while SAS lost both of its youth teams. TFC, on the other hand, has a full cup!
Having qualified on the green carpet, Bergerac having fielded a suspended player in the semi-final, the players of Périgord Blanc, a group of clubs from Limens JSA, Neuvic-Saint-Léon and Grignols-Villamblard, played at home on Saturday, in the final of the Dordogne Cup for under-19s (U19). They did not let their chance slip away, well helped by the Prigontins reduced to ten after half an hour of play, after a bad move by Yanis Peleszezak. With a numerical advantage, the Périgord Blanc scored twice before half-time, through Milo Naudet (35th) and Noah Maillot (45th). And even if the Prigontins did not give up, the second act was a solo effort for Cédric Favereau's players, with new goals from Aubin Denoix (59th, 70th), Ylhan Castel (72nd) and Milo Naudet (75th) for a 6-0 victory.
Prigonrieux's U17 side were no more successful, against Trélissacois, who were four divisions higher. TFC scored twice in the first half, through Axel Gueguen (19th minute) and Yanis Antri (30th minute), who scored twice in the 84th minute after his team missed numerous chances. PFC, for its part, was rewarded for its fine spirit at the very end of the match with a penalty from Thomas Roche (3-1).
The score was bigger in the U15 Cup final for Trélissac, also playing in Regional 1, against Sanilhac players playing in Interdistricts. More technical and faster, Trélissac quickly opened the scoring, when Mélina Talbot finished off a cross from Téo Thomas (6th). Arnaud Gayarre, the SAS goalkeeper, had a good chance of pushing back a powerful shot from Ugo Incana, TFC doubled the lead through Naël Launay, left behind in the box (25th) and increased the score when Nohann Salles came to deny a goalkeeper who was slow to restart (38th). He made up for it several times after that but still had to bow out again to Thomas (56th), Talbot (72nd), Naël Combo (75th) and Salles (80th) for a very heavy 7-0.
Tighter in District CupsAnd the U17 District Cup was no comfort to SAS. Victorious against Foothislécole 3-1 at La Pierre-Grise ten days earlier, on the final day of the championship, Sanilhac B lost 0-2 this time. Goalkeeper Dylan Bamoudou delayed the game until halftime against a more physical and technical Thibériens who scored twice in the second half against Sanilhacois who, without being able to field a single player who had played in a senior team, struggled to put together a team.
Finally, in the final of the U15 district cup, the Périgord Sud group, joined at the end of the match after logically opening the score in the 50th minute, ended up winning 6-5 on penalties against Vézère-Périgord Noir.
