Despite the defeat, Corentin Moutet still scored a crazy point in Washington

After his incredible match point against Daniil Medvedev in the quarterfinals, Corentin Moutet saw his run end in the semifinals of the Washington tournament this Saturday against Alex de Minaur (6-4, 6-3). While the Australian showed off his power, the Frenchman once again produced some spectacular shots from his racket that prompted cheers from the stands.

In the second set, Moutet in particular unexpectedly turned a situation around with a long rally: pushed far back from his baseline, he first attempted a lob to push his opponent back to the net, then took advantage of a smash that wasn't strong enough to conclude the point with a long forehand down the line.
