The 2025 season, the last: Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers, the new quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers, stated yesterday that at 41 years old, the 2025 NFL season, which begins in September, will be the last of his career.
“I'm pretty confident it will be. That's why I signed a one-year deal. What better place to end up than with one of the NFL's greatest franchises, with Mike Tomlin and a great group of leaders and great players, in a city that expects you to win?” the quarterback said on The Pat McAfee Show.
Rodgers, who was a Super Bowl XLV champion with the Green Bay Packers over 20 years in the NFL, had his future in the league on hold until June 6, when he signed a one-year contract with the Steelers, to play what he said would be his final season in the NFL.
“The Steelers didn't need to add more years or anything. Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the end. The idea was to end with a lot of love, fun, and peace. During my career, I played 20 years, it's been a very long career, and I've enjoyed it,” he asserted.
Aaron Rodgers is considered one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
He played 18 seasons (2005-2022) with the Packers, the team that selected him in the first round of the 2005 Draft, and which he led to winning Super Bowl XLV, in which he was named Most Valuable Player.— EFE
